PAYMENT

How do I use my discount code?


At the checkout, simply enter the code in the box on the right hand side of the payment screen. 
When placing an order on a mobile device, select ‘Show order summary’ to find the discount code entry point.

What forms of payment are accepted?


We accept payment via Paypal as well as Visa, Mastercard and American Express.

I have a gift card, how do I use it?


At the checkout, simply enter the code in the box on the right hand side of the payment screen. 
When placing an order on a mobile device, select ‘Show order summary’ to find the gift card entry point.

If you do not spend the entire amount on your gift card the code will remain valid with your remaining amount.
If you spend more than the value of the card, you can simply pay the extra via paypal or with a credit card.

Pre Ordering - How does it work?


If an item is available for pre-order, you will see the Pre-Order banner displayed above the product. 

When you select to pre-order an item, the product will be added to your cart as if you were placing a normal order. You'll then need to follow the checkout process as normal and pay for the item.

If your order contains a mix of pre-orders and in stock items, we will ship the in stock items first, followed by the pre-order as soon as the product is available. Shipping charges will occur only once. 

Please remember that when you place a pre-order it is treated as a normal order and payment will be taken in full when the order is placed.

We offer free standard shipping on all orders within Australia!

When will my order ship?


We ship all orders with Australia Post within 1-2 business days. 
You will receive an email notification once your order has been shipped.

Customs


Customs/import duties vary from country to country and (if applicable) are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. 
Any charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. 
Unfortunately, we can not estimate these charges so if you are unsure, please check with your local customs authorities.

Can I track my order?


Yes, you will receive your tracking number with your shipping notification.
Please allow a couple of hours after the shipping notification for tracking information to upload. 

Please be aware tracking information is not available on Int'l Economy Shipping.

What is sterling silver?


Sterling silver is an alloy of silver containing 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper. Pure silver is too soft to produce jewellery, so it is alloyed with copper to make it strong.

With proper care your sterling silver jewellery will last a lifetime.

What is oxidised silver?


Oxidized silver has been aged with a chemical; usually with liver of sulphur. It is done purposefully to give a silver different appeal or to highlight details.

How do I care for sterling silver?


Wearing your jewellery often is actually one of the best ways to keep it looking beautiful. Left on the dressing table, silver will tarnish.
One way to prevent silver from tarnishing is to keep your jewellery in small zip-lock bag or travel pouch in between wears.
Avoid harsh chemicals and perfumes when wearing silver jewellery.

How do I clean sterling silver?


Polishing with a silver cloth is the best way to remove tarnish from jewellery.
We have silver polishing cloths available for purchase here.

Another easy cleaning method is to take a pea size amount of non-whitening toothpaste or a home-made solution of baking soda and water, polish with an soft toothbrush using circular motions, and finally, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Gemstones however, won’t appreciate the polish, so avoid them when cleaning your silver.

All gemstones & crystals are real unless otherwise stated.

How was this piece made?


Many of our pieces are hand crafted by skilled artisans, others are casted.
When it comes to hand crafted jewellery, any variation in colour or detailing is a result of the hand crafted nature of the piece. Slight imperfections are not considered defects, but add to the value and unique character of the piece.

RETURNS

How can I return an item?


To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. 
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. In the interest of hygiene, earrings and body jewellery cannot be returned.

Exchanges


Ordered the wrong size or stone? If you'd like a different colour or size of the same item, you can return an item for an exchange for up to 30 days.
Contact us at customerservice@staticjewellery.com for assistance. Please include your order number and the details of the item you wish to exchange.
